REFUSE is collected on Friday and must be at the curb by 8:00 a.m. The pick up

is affected by the four major holidays. Pick up will then be on Saturday.

Please do not place the following items in with your refuse.

· Broken glass, fluorescent tubes

· Batteries

· Tires

· Petroleum products

· Paint, stain, thinner, etc

· Flammables

· Acids or any corrosive

· Tar

· Building materials

Trash Tags are $13.00

RECYCLING is collected on the first Friday of each month and must be at the curb by 8:00 a.m. The four major holidays will affect pick up, it will then be on Saturday.

Recyclables must be in an open container such as a cardboard box or plastic garbage can. Lids must be removed and the containers must be empty. NO phone books or magazines.

The following items are recyclable:

· Clean Plastics

· Clean aluminum and tin cans

· Bundled or bagged newspapers

· Bundled cardboard

Recycling at Fernwood Shelter house on the 3^rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. till Noon.

BRUSH & LIMB PICK UP is on the second Monday of the month only. Please refrain from putting your brush and limbs out until the day before pick up. In the case of storm, there will be another pick up.

LEAF PICK UP is usually scheduled for October or November. Please call the Village Office or check the local newspaper for more information. Please do not place foreign objects in with leaves.
